"No strings attached"

is an interactive musical discovery of the classical strings quartet. Get familiar with all the members of the strings family, from high-pitched violin to medium viola and low cello. Listen to some great tunes from baroque to contemporary music, and even movie music! Clap your hands, sing along! Ask us to play loud or soft, fast or slow...we are here for your musical pleasure!

Concert : 45 minutes for an audience 4yrs to 15yrs old (content to be adapted).

The strings quartet (comprising 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello) will play famous classical tunes (Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel...) covering different music eras: baroque, classical, romantic, modern. They will also perform other genres like jazz, tango, and kids favourite movie music (Harry Potter..)and sing along songs, according to the group age: Twinkle twinkle little star, Old Mc Donald had a farm... This is to show the versatility of the strings quartet and reach to the interest of the young audience. Their curiosity is key to understand and appreciate music. The performance will be fun, interactive, colourful.

Strings quartet exploration program. Class initiation program:

After the concert, students can pick up an instrument they like, and get a 15 classes initiation program, under the tutoring of our strings quartet member. At the end of this journey, the group gather into a large strings ensemble (violins, violas, cellos) and perform in a mini-concert. From listener to performer, a perfect way to experience music!

Age: from 8 years old (grade 3).
